Competition for a framework agreement for glass work and glass material

Stavanger kommune [Stavanger municipality]

Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola and Randaberg municipalities, hereafter also called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to a competition.
The contracting authority is not a legal entity. The contracting authority uses joint tender documentation, but will enter into separate contracts with the winning contractor and shall be considered as 4 separate contracting authorities with different delivery and invoicing addresses.
The contracting authority would like, through this competition, to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of glass and glass work to municipal buildings and residences, including schools, nurseries, residential and activity centres, nursing and old peoples homes, swimming pools, sports hall, flats, office buildings, arts centres, municipal housing, health stations, etc. The contract is for replacing and repairing existing glass. Projects and new buildings are held outside this contract. The contracting authority reserves the right to carry out repairs/replacements with a value of more than 100 000 NOK excl. VAT in separate tender contests.
The competition will allow tenderers to submit a tender per municipality. Tenders must, however, include both work and material. Tenders cannot be submitted for only work or only material. A contract can, thus, be awarded to a joint tenderer for all four municipalities if the tender that has the lowest price comes from the same tenderer. Separate contracts can also be awarded for each municipality.
