The new guarantee facility shall replace the existing bank guarantee framework and all running bank guarantees under the current framework.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer must be a legally established company or a group of such companies.
The tenderer must also have a license from The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority to operate banking business.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderer shall have good solidity and also satisfactory economic capacity to execute the Contract.
There is a requirement for a long-term rating from an international rating agency such as Standard & Poor‘s, Moody‘s or Fitch.
The rating must be a minimum of A- (single A-) level in S&P‘s and Fitch's rating scale or A3 in Moody's rating scale. If there are multiple ratings, the lowest rating is applicable.

It is a requirement that the tenderer has a Norwegian warranty department with strong competence in Norwegian Guarantees.
It is a requirement that the tenderer is connected to the SWIFT network. (Society for Worldwide lnterbank Financial Telecommunication).
