The aim of the procurement is to ensure 13 previously defined trigger points along county road 53 Tyin-Årdal in Oppland county by using a system for remote controlled, preventive snow avalanche control. The contracting authority would like tenders for the procurement of a complete system for remote control for avalanches for 13 trigger points on the stretch county road 53, Tyin-Årdal in Oppland county. The contract also includes some rock clearing, installation, training, as well as filling in and maintenance over a period of 5 years after completion.
The trigger points and the area have previously been defined by the contracting authority and tenderers are to offer a system for this.
Tenderers shall offer to fill in with blasted matter.
An option shall be drafted for the operation of the delivered installation. A price estimate shall be given for this option.

The contract consists of the delivery of a complete system for the remote control of preventive snow avalanche control for 13 previously defined trigger points. In addition to delivering a complete ‘ready for use’ system for the 13 trigger points, including training in the use of the system, maintenance shall also be offered. Different systems for preventive snow avalanche control use different types of blasting aids, such as gas mixtures, or different systems that use dynamite or another explosive. The delivery shall include all of the following three components ‘complete assembled system including training in use’, ‘maintenance of the delivery for 5 years’ and ‘filling in blasted matter for 5 years’.In addition to the described delivery, tenderers shall draft the operation of the delivered installation for preventive snow avalanche control as an option.
