Roligheden school for 1st — 10th years shall be located in Roligheden, in the western part of Tromøy in Arendal municipality. The school is approx. 3 km from Tromøy bridge and approx. 8 km from the centre of Arendal. The new school site is close to the Tromøy hall and the current school site for Roligheden school.
Arendal Eiendom KF shall construct a new school for 1st — 10th years, including community function and multi-purpose hall. The buildings shall replace the existing Roligheden school with the accompanying outside areas and installations. The school shall have a capacity of 630 pupils and 80 employees. The tender contest concerns a new school with an outdoor facility as a turnkey contract with a solution proposal. Option price for the demolition of the existing lower secondary school shall be also be given.
