A new publication regarding Digital TV signal and TV subscriptions

Tromsø kommune (Tromsø municipality)

Tromsø kommune currently has 530 rental dwellings with analogue TV signal, see Annex 5.
The objective of this procurement is to provide TV subscriptions and channel packages with digital TV signal to the residents in municipal residences, and also the possibility for internet connection. The internet subscriptions themselves are not part of the procurement.
The municipality does not want any of the residents to be left without TV signals at the change-over from the analogue signal to the digital signal. It is therefore desirable that all residences have had TV signals and channel packages installed before the analogue signal is switched off.
The contract will include:
All necessary works in connection with the establishment/installation of TV signal/TV packages all of the residences (including i.a. any possible excavation works, cabling, connecting, etc. also inside in the residences). This will also include installation and connection of decoders in the residences.
Subscription TV — standard package with a selection of Norwegian and foreign TV channels.
The Contracting Authority requests a solution that provides the possibility of connecting to the internet for residents.
Necessary service and customer follow-up to ensure stable operation.
Based on recent years' consumption for TV subscriptions, a combined annual call-off of approx. 1 400 000 NOK excluding VAT can be expected.
