Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of 6 ACT apparatuses (coagulation analysers) for OUS, Rikshospitalet. The ACT apparatuses will be used near patients to determine the blood's coagulation abilities during operations etc. and they are necessary for carrying out operations. These 6 apparatuses shall replace equipment that has broken down. Many other ACT apparatuses are so old that it is likely that they will have to be replaced. We calculate that there can be a total need for 40 ACT apparatuses. We would therefore like prices for options.
The procurement also includes entering into framework agreement for the purchase of associated consumables. This framework agreement will be valid for 2 years. The award of contract for consumables will follow the award of contract for the procurement of the instrument.
The estimated annual volume for the consumables for 40 instruments is given in the price form for consumables (annex 2.3B), this has been estimated as an average consumption for 2 tests per instrument per normal working day. The contracting authority will not be obligated to procure more than what the actual use of the instrument requires, but, at the same time, has an option to increase the contract's volume until all of the instruments are fully used.
