Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of
1 GC-C-IRMS for Norway's laboratory for doping analyses (NLD), Aker sykehus.
The contract is for the delivery of an instrument for quantitive determination of the isotope ratios for hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen and oxygen isotopes in organic compounds in body fluids (urine and blood), GC-C-IRMS (Gas Chromatography — Combustion — Isotope Ration Mass Spectrometer) in accordance with the requirement specifications and the requirements set in this document. The aim of the procurement is to undertake measurements of the 13C/12C ratio of doping means in urine in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)'s rules. In addition the instrument shall be used to evaluate other isotope ratios that can be relevant for the doping analysis, as well as to undertake analyses for research projects.
Tenderers must, as a part of the tender, specify what is necessary for the delivery to function in accordance with the requirements and the tenderer will be completely responsible for ensuring that the procurement functions satisfactorily upon hand over.
In annex 2.4 Requirement responses points II.27 and II.28, we ask for options for developments for splitting samples into a single quadrupole mass spectrometer. This could be procured at the same time as 1 GC-C-IRMS.
