The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research, c/o the Microscopy Laboratory, shall procure a digital slide scanner for microscopy. The slide scanner shall be used in a research environment with many different assignments. Therefore the requirements for flexibility, user friendliness and quality will mean more than possibilities for a high production volume. Furthermore, it is important that the pictures shall easily be able to be divided between research groups at home and abroad without the recipient needing to invest in new software or making other comprehensive adaptations. The following options can be relevant: Service contract after the guarantee period, picture database and a fluorosence-module. We would therefore like tenderers to include this in their tender. Due to the budgeting for 2016, the tenderer who is chosen will need to sign the contract with the contracting authority by 23.12.2016. The contracting authority would like tenderers to upload examples of digitalised slides to be sent to the contracting authority. The digitalised slides shall be made with the offered system, or with a system giving the same quality. Tenderers can also document the scanner's picture quality by asking the contracting authority to send test slides. The digitalised slides shall be delivered in the standard file format for the scanner. Tenderers must contact the contracting authority by 11.11.2016 at 24:00, in order to get a set of test slides sent. Tenderers are to use the communication module in Mercell in order to be sent test slides and/or information on submission. Tenderers must state their postal address in order to get the test slides sent. The digitalised slides are to be sent to a separate uploading area that will be made available for tenderers. Tenderers are to mark the test slides/example of a digitalised slide from the tenderer with the name and reference number 2016/1324.
