Statsbygg would like, in connection with the project:no.: 1017004.name: Oslo Prison department B to implement a qualification process for participants who may be interested in submitting tenders on the following consulting assignments.Department B (Bayer'n) consists of 4 joined buildings in Oslo County Jail. Parts of this were erected in the 1870's and were originally a part of the Christiania Aktie Beer Brewery. This organisation was discontinued in 1931. After some reconstruction, department B opened as a prison in 1934. In the 30/40 years Department B was extended in several stages. Currently there up to 5 floors above the ground + loft, and 2 cellar floors. In addition, department consists of several other free standing buildings such as the carpentry workshop, boiler house and the forge.Department B consists of approx. 18 000 m2 GFA plus the other free standing buildings. Total approx. 20 000 m2.Parts of department B are planned for demolition and replacement with new construction. The rest of the building mass and other buildings shall be completely rehabilitated.Phase 1: BIM-Model:The Directorate of Public Construction and Property has scanned the entire agglomeration of buildings at Oslo Prison dep. B to a point cloud and wants to have this point cloud modelled to a BIM model. This model shall later be enriched in a sketch — preliminary project/performance contract. Level of the model will be clarified after signing of the contract.The Directorate of Public Construction and Property is seeking 2 to 3 people who shall perform the assignment at The Directorate of Public Construction and Property's office in Biskop Gunnerus' gate 6 in Oslo. 1 of these shall be the assignment manager.Under no circumstances shall point sky or BIM model be removed from The Directorate of Public Construction and Property's office. Both the BIM model and the point cloud are exempt from public disclosure.Phase 2: Function as BIM-Coordinator (Option):The assignment manager must expect to be transferred to an engineering design group and/or a contractor as a BIM Coordinator, during 2017/2018. An important assignment as BIM Coordinator is to ensure that the BIM model is enriched according to the requirements from The Directorate of Public Construction and Property. In the engineering design phase there will be a period of fixed co-location, with the engineering design group and The Directorate of Public Construction and Property, in the Oslo area. The BIM Coordinator is expected to have an active role in the engineering design phase, coordinate other disciplines, technical support, lead joint review of the BIM model, etc.
