The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design is moving in 2019 into a new building at Vestbanen, opening to the public in 2020.The Directorate of Public Construction wants tender offers on a modern collection management system that is tailored to the museum's needs. In addition to the traditional catalogue function, the system shall also include expanded museum functions, and the possibility of digitalised planning and process management.The procurement of a Collection Management System is an important initiative for The National Museum to facilitate professional internal museum work processes, management and receipt of information in integrated systems as well as flexible solutions for digital communications surfaces to the public in the new museum. The system shall first be adopted in the current premises and thereafter migrated to the new building.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
The tenderer is required to have a legally established company.
Company Registration Certificate, foreign companies are required to have an equivalent certificate in the country where the company is registered, alternatively StartBANK ID.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers are required to have sufficient and financial implementation ability. The extent of the turnover will also be emphasised.
Complete annual financial statement for the last accounting year including the audit report.
The Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property reserves the right to carry out a credit rating of all tenderers.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
The tenderer is required to have sufficient experience from assignments with comparative value.
I.a., experience from assignment deliveries to the art museum are emphasised.
A description of approx. 2 A4 pages per project shall be delivered of up to 5 relevant reference assignments/deliveries of comparative value from recent years, with name of the contracting authority and contract value.
Strong academic foundation is required. Teh. tenderer must demonstrate a clear connection to the museum environment, preferably in the art field.
The National Museum refers here to the need for a long term partnership with the selected tenderer, where professional museum association (reference groups) is important.
Refer to the professional areas stated under 1.1.6 Functional Specifications.
A description of approx. 800 words (2 A4 pages).
The tenderer is required to have an established methodology and procedures for system development. The methodology/procedures shall i.a. include:
— good professional user involvement;
— established procedures to remain updated in international professional environments;
— an evident methodology for further development.
We want tenderers who have experience with and emphasis professional user involvement, that remain updated in international professional environments and who have an evident and open methodology for further development.
An approximately 800 word (approx. 2 A4 pages) description of the tenderer's methodology and procedures for system development.
