The electro technical plant comprises a total of 8 different contracts, referred to as K401 Electric Power, K4011 Lighting (including outdoor lighting), K5011 Network, K502 Building management/Automation, K503 ICT equipment, K5031 AV equipment, and K601 Lift. There are also some electro technical works that are included in contract K201; Alteration Infrastructure, K204; Framework concrete works and K701 Outdoor installations.
The contract K5011 Network concerns active network equipment for a complete physical separated IPv4 and IPv6 network for transport of IP traffic for the security systems (TVO, AAK installation, AIA installation, etc.) which shall be delivered as a separate contract K501 Security. All cabling for the Ethernet, i.e. distribution network and risers for ICT in accordance with NEK700 are carried out in the separate contract K401 Electro.
The IP network has a separate network, physically divided from the other IP network in the building. Active network equipment shall be delivered, installed, configured and tested in accordance with test plans NS6450 and commissioned physically at the location. The contractor must also offer a service agreement with physical appearance at the location, also for experienced 3rd line personnel within the given response time.
The active network components comprise the following building parts connected to the equipment described in chapter 5 in NS3451:2009, the building parts table.
This is as follows:
— 522 Network equipment.
This includes equipment such as edge switches belonging to the IP security network.
— 523 Central equipment.
This includes equipment such as distribution, core switches, IP routers, security barriers/firewalls, as well as network monitoring, including servers and accompanying IP security net.
— 524 Terminal equipment (PCs).
This involves equipment such as client PCs for network monitoring, the operation of the IP security net.
