The Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) carries out experiments in laboratories and the field in order to examine the potential in communications technology and how new technology can be used. The objective is to get FFI one or several broadband radio products in order to fulfil laboratory and field testing needs. In this tender FFI requests tenders for a radio system consisting of individual nodes capable of creating an ad hoc network, independent of the base or master station that uses frequencies in the military frequency band (VHF 30 — 88 MHz and/or UHF 225 — 400 MHz), alternatively also on an unlicensed band. In addition we would also like tenders for tactical satellite communication with wavelength (UHF 225-400 MHz), either on the same hardware as MANET or as a separate system. Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Tax and VAT certificate, not older than 6 months.
The tenderer must be a legally established company. Documentation: Company registration certificate.
Ethical self-declaration for tenderers. Documentation: Enclose confirmation that you as the supplier are aware of and satisfy the requirements in the declaration.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers shall have healthy finances and the financial capacity to fulfil the assignment/contract. Documentation: Credit rating, not older than 1 year, based on the last known accounting figures. The rating shall be carried out by an officially certified credit rating institution. The rating shall be credit worthy or higher.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers shall have experience from equivalent assignments within radio communication. Documentation requirement: A description of the tenderer's company, ownership, size and departments, as well as copies of the tenderer's product catalogue and brochures.

Tenderers shall have good experience with providing these types of services. Documentation: Tenderers shall enclose a list of equivalent deliveries in the last five years with a description, including information on a reference person.
