Troms Kraft Nett shall construct a new transformer station, Varden Transformer Station, at Varden Borettslag on the north of Tromsøya in Tromsø.
ABB AS and EB Elektro AS have been contracted to deliver the high voltage plant, control and apparatus plants and the transformers. They shall assembly these in the building.
We are, thus, announcing a pre-qualification of contractors for a works assignment that includes all construction work including the building's technical installations. Ground work and outdoor work shall also be included in the assignment. The transformer building is a class 2 station in accordance with the Stand-By Regulations. The TEK 10, Stand-By Regulations, FEF and the regulations on fire protection in the supply of electricity apply. The building will have a footprint of approximately 650 m². The gross area is approximately 1 400 m² divided over three floors. See the attached provisional perspective drawing. The building's constructions will mainly be concrete (cast on site and prefabricated), but there will also be some internal dividing walls of steel and plasterboard studwork.
The construction start is planned for 2.5.2016, 12-month construction period. Completion 1.5.2017.
