Transport for elderly persons, disabled persons, school pupils at public primary and secondary schools.
The assignment is for facilitated transport of persons (users) who the Department of Health and Care Services has awarded the right to transport to/from:
1. Daycentres for elderly persons, primarily at residential and treatment homes (per September 2015 daycentre places for elderly persons during the day: 69 and daycentre places for elderly persons in the afternoon/evening: 6).
2. Daycentres/respite care/activity offers/work, primarily for disabled adults and persons with mental disorders (per September 2015 training workshops/respite care places etc.: 36 and places at work training: 27 and the number of persons who require transport to a psychiatric daycentre per September 2015: 11).
3. Other needs for facilitated transport, booked trips (ad hoc).
The assignment also applies to the transport of school pupils that Karmøy municipality is responsible for (i.e. those that the county is not responsible for). The transport of school pupils is awarded by the Education and Culture Department.
The school transport of pupils will mostly be the county's responsibility, with the municipality only paying for the bus rate. However in some areas the municipality has all the financial liability for the transport. The transport of pupils who are not the county's responsibility is a part of this contract.
The number of pupils will vary from year to year, but experience says that there will be 25-30 pupils per annum who require transport.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
— Tenderers shall have the tax, duty and VAT payments to the tax authorities in order.
The tenderer shall have orderly conditions in relation to payment of tax, duties and VAT. This shall be substantiated by presenting a certificate from the Tax Administration. The certificate must not be more than 6 months from the deadline for receipt of tenders.

The tenderer must have sufficient financial capacity to implement the assignment/contract.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
— List of the most important, relevant assignments during the past three years, including information on the value, time, and the name of the public or private recipients. If the services were for public contracting authorities, this should be documented by certificates issued or confirmed by the authority concerned. If the services were for private contracts, certificates should be issued or confirmed by these. In the absence of this, a declaration from the tenderer will be accepted. Tenderers are asked to briefly state how the assignments are relevant for this assignment.

Tenderers are asked to provide information on reference persons with contact information (e-mail addresses and telephone numbers). The contracting authority reserves the right to contact the reference persons if needed.
Tenderers do not need to have had assignments all the time in the last three years. Each of the assignments must have lasted for a minimum of 6 months.
