The project involves the construction of the new Mela Bridge, demolition/removal of the existing bridge and the construction of a new County road 715 with a length of approx. 650 m, including an associated foot/cycle path. The bridge shall be constructed as a reinforced slab bridge. The total length of the bridge: 54 m. The total width of the bridge: 14 m. Divided in roadway and pavement on both sides of the bridge.
