Storage system (SAN)
The contract is for the procurement of a new storage system that can grow and perform that is in accordance with the contracting authority's needs. It shall be operative 24/7/365. The system shall be based on 2 storage units placed in different locations with a fibre connection between the locations, with the 2 units mirroring/replicating as today. The system has an active-active protection, depending on the chosen technology, for the data, which gives uninterruptable access in the event of a failover.
The contract is for the procurement of a new storage system that can grow and perform in accordance with the contracting authority's needs. It shall be operative 24/7/365 and the entity's services shall not be disturbed for planned maintenance or non-planned maintenance.
The system must be flexible as regards capacity and performance in order to meet the contracting authority's ever increasing growth in the amount of data and the requirements for continual improved performance and increased availability. The system shall be based on 2 storage units placed in different locations with a fibre connection between the locations, with the 2 units mirroring/replicating as today. The system has an active-active protection, depending on the chosen technology, for the data, which gives uninterruptable access in the event of a failover.
The delivery with the following additional deliveries shall cover the contracting authority's storage need for 7 years from the approved delivery.
The competition will be held as a TED — open tender contest.
