— The project consists of demolishing a before and after school care building of approx. 250 m².
— Extension of approx. 1 000 m², 2-storey building with a ventilation room on the roof, this is to be built in passive house standard.
— Renovation of approx. 1 800 m² in building A.
— Altering classrooms to special rooms in the B-arm building.
— Extension to some of the corridors in building C.
The project involves increasing the capacity at Skeie school, this is to be done with an extension. In addition we have many requirements from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority that shall also be fulfilled in this project.
The before and after school care building is in so bad condition that it must be demolished, this will make room for the extension to the main building.
The extension is approx. 1 000 m². The extension is described as passive house standard.
Skeie school does not have an art room or a music room, the project will change classrooms into special rooms in the B-arm building.
All the existing teacher work places are located on an open loft area over the main building. We have been refused permission to use the open loft areas for work places. This will mean some alterations and adaptations.
The ventilation installations in building A must be replaced as well as all the electrical installations. This means new ceilings, new lighting, new floor coverings and painting walls. New internal doors and a new locking system will be required in the alterations. The architect would like to keep the tiled floor in the corridors, indestructible clinker tiles that are cleaned and polished. The floor surfaces in the toilets will be changed to vinyl floors, the walls are to be plastered and painted. This is to make the cleaning easier in the toilets.
The gym building will have its own ventilation aggregate as an extension in the gable end. The showers and changing rooms are to be slightly altered.
The renovation of building A will be comprehensive, it will be challenging to insert ventilation channels.
We would like the projects to start in August 2015, this is, however, subject to political and financial approval. The project will be carried out over approx. 2 years.
Multiconsult AS and Link arkitektur AS have designed the project in detail in a group contract. The architect is Kristian Beck and the engineering design group manager is Bernt Roald Sørensen.

Minste nivå(er) av standarder:
1) The company shall have carried out assignments of the same degree of difficulty and extent/size as the general contractor or turnkey contractor.
In addition the company must have experience from and knowledge of alterations to schools in operation.
2) The company shall have systems for quality assurance.
3) Tenderers are required to have qualifications in development class 3 for the discipline ‘Overall responsibility for execution (building, site or construction, technical installations)’.
4) The offered personnel shall have satisfactory competence and the ability to fulfil the contract. The offered personnel are required to have experience from management/coordination of all relevant professions.

Objektive utvelgelseskriterier:
In the event of any selection of any surplus qualified contractors, Bergen municipality will invite those contractors who are best qualified on the basis of the qualification requirements in the competition. The contractor's technical and professional qualifications will be given the most emphasis.
