Service agreement Cisco for Helse Sør-Øst

A regional service agreement shall be entered into for Cisco equipment. The scope of the procurement is given in the information in the tender documents.
Sykehuspartner HF (SP) is responsible for providing services to non-medical support services to the Norwegian Health Care Enterprises. SP is a full-range supplier of ICT services with a service portfolio that i.a. includes operation of equipment, network, administration of applications and consultancy services.
SP has ownership to the ICT equipment used by all Health Care Enterprises in HSØ, as well as operational responsibility for the ICT equipment. In case of larger events, SP has a stand-by plan and a 24 hours manned operation centre that will bring situations back to normal operations. The objective of this agreement is to establish an interface between SP and the manufacturer, where the purpose is to register and notify errors on equipment or network errors, which SP has failed to solve.
The computer network is one of the most critical function in a hospital, equal to water, power and heating. Most of the hospitals in the region will close the registration of new patients if the computer network is not working, and if the ICT services are unavailable over time. If the computer network is not working, some of the functions in a hospital may be a threat to life and health.
In case of major critical errors, SP will require a contracting party with abilities and resources to handling situations when errors have occurred on the computer network. SP requests a service provider who can assists with recovery ASAP, by using all possible available means. SP requests a service provider who is proactive in such a way that errors can be avoided.
