The main fire station in Oslo was constructed in 1941 and it was built as a fire station. The fire station is designed as a horse shoe, the main and south wings have 8 floors and the north wing has 6 floors. The total area is approx. 11 510 m. The building is registered as worthy or protection on the Cultural Heritage Management Office's yellow list. The 7 floor included in this requirement specification has been built as a flat. The floor shall now be altered to temporary office premises. The area in question is approx. 550 m. Emergency renovation is currently being carried out on the building's 1 — 6 floors, for which there is a turnkey contract with KF Entreprenør. The building is to be renovated so that it can be run for up to 10 years before it is demolished. This contract consists of technical HVAC work, electrotechnical work and construction work.
