Reconstruction and renovation of Langgata 74 to a nursery school

Sandnes kommune (Sandnes municipality)

The Town Council has in the financial plan for 2015-2018 decided that a nursery school in the centre of Sandnes shall be constructed. The nursery school shall be constructed in the old culture school and shall contain a minimum indoor play area of 462 m2. The indoor play area shall be divided in six groups and shall be facilitated in a flexible manner for small and older children.
In connection with this, the contracting authority intends to enter into a contract for complete reconstruction and renovation works at Langgata 74 to a six department nursery school, in accordance with the tender documents and annexes. The assignment includes:
— Demolition
— Reconstruction and renovation
— Delivery and installation of fixtures and equipment
— Complete development of an outdoor area
— Replacement of the outdoor HVAC system
The project shall be carried out as a general contract based on NS 8405:2008. The demolition and construction works at Langgata 74 is ready for start-up in October 2015, at the latest. The general contractor shall have capacity to complete the total reconstruction and renovation of Langgata 74, with accompanying outdoor areas, and in accordance with contractual obligations, in such a way that the take-over proceeding can take place within 1.7.2016 (completion deadline), at the latest. The nursery school shall be in use by the middle of August 2016. Langgata 74 has been subject to detailed engineering design in accordance with NS 3420:2013/14 and shall be constructed in accordance with the requirements given in TEK 10, unless other distinct guidelines are given
