Real time information system and active signal prioritising

Brakar as

The procurement includes all the necessary equipment, software and services required for the generation and communication of real time and deviation information for buses in Buskerud.
Phase 1 comprises up to approximately 150 buses, 50 bus stop signs and 10 signal installations.
Important elements in the procurement are, amongst other things:
— Software/functionality for the real time system with working out prognoses for departures from bus stops.
— Signs and monitors at selected bus stops, intersections, terminals etc.
— Equipment and software for audio of the content on the bus stop sign via speech synthesis, press buttons and loudspeakers.
— Internal audio of the next stops in buses.
— External audio of line and destination of buses upon arrival at stops.
— Internal sign/monitors for passengers in buses.
— Driver display.
— Automatic control of external destination signs on buses.
— System for active signal prioritising (ASP) for the signal installations.
— System for receiving and forwarding static timetable data for presentation together with real time prognoses.
— System for receiving, processing and publishing deviation and service information on signs, the internet and mobiles.
— System for monitoring and administering signs and sign content/viewing.
— Tool for extracting and processing traffic statistics.
— Fleet management tool for operators and the contracting authority.
— Services for the installation, configuration and testing of software.
— Statistics and analysis tool.
— Necessary equipment to communicate with buses and signs.
— installation services for equipment in vehicles and at stops and terminals.
— System/interface for import and export of timetable data (Regtop/Netex) to other systems/applications.
— Open interface/standards (SIRI) so that real time and deviation information can be exchanged with other systems/components.
— Training and competence transfer to the contracting authority and operators and/or a third party.
— Tool for administration, parameters and maintenance of the system.
— Operation and maintenance contracts for signs and the system.
