Rail drop for bogie shimming

A rail drop system shall be positioned by the wheel lathe bench in the light rail workshop at Kokstad to carry out trimming/shimming. The system shall be used to lower the wheels from the bogie frame on the light rail carriages in order to carry out maintenance/trimming/shimming after re-profiling has been carried out at the wheel lathe bench.
The contract is for the delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of the system. The supplier shall see to the interface with mechanical/electrical installations for operating the equipment.

The tenderer must be a legally established company.
Documentation requirement for Norwegian tenderers:
— Company Registration Certificate.
Documentation requirement for foreign tenderers:
— Confirmation that the tenderer is registered in a trade register or company register in accordance with the law in the country where the tenderer is established.
Tenderers must have their affairs in order with respect to the payment of tax, employer contribution and value added tax (VAT).
Documentation requirement: Tax Certificates which are not older than six months from the tender deadline. Tax certificates are defined as:
For Norwegian tenderers:
— Form from the Tax Directorate (RF-1244) for VAT, tax and employer contributions issued by the Tax Office.
For foreign tenderers:
— Foreign tenderers must submit equivalent certificates from their own country that show that they have their tax and duty payments in order. If the authorities in the relevant country do not issue these certificates, the tenderer should submit a declaration which states that all taxes and duties have been paid. The declaration shall be approved and signed by the tenderer's Financial Director/ person responsible for Finance.

The tenderer must fulfil Norwegian HSE requirements for work that is carried out in Norway.

Tenderers shall follow the eight fundamental ILO conventions and there shall be continual systematic work to ensure that the company's sub suppliers comply with the requirements.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
The tenderer shall have sufficient financial strength to be able to comply with the contractual obligations.
Documentation requirement: The tenderer's annual accounts for 2013 and 2014.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers shall have relevant experience from the last three years in delivering and commissioning a rail drop system, including handling building interface and commissioning such a system for track maintenance.
Documentation requirement: Previous assignments shall be described in annex 4 of the prequalification documentation.
