Purchase of service, maintenance and expansion on F5 — equipment

The Contracting Authority has a large quantity of F5 equipment that is a central part of the infrastructure. The components used for termination of HTTPS as well as applications load balancing for all applications at the Contracting Authority. In correlation with the technical development, use of the equipment can be expanded to use other modules. Current use is first and foremost based on the LTM module. The Contracting Authority carries out many of these assignments themselves, but there can be a need for extra assistance in some period and during troubleshooting. The Contracting Authority also wants the tenderer to deliver expansions on F5 during the contract period. A more detailed description of the need and requirements for the services to be delivered is in the attached SSA-V with annex. The existing service agreement's duration is up until 1.2.2016. The Contracting Authority has need for a new service and maintenance agreement from 1.2.2016 in order to carry out future service and maintenance services on F5 equipment. The agreement shall run annually with a duration of 2 years + 1 year + 1 year. Based on the existing agreement, the Contracting Authority anticipates an annual volume including service, support and consulting services to be approximately 1 300 000 NOK. Due to course variations, phasing out of old F5 hardware, as well as the different needs of the Contracting Authority, the annual price can vary.
