Hadsel municipality

Hadsel kommune shall construct a Protection Building for the coastal steamer MS Finnmarken, which was taken out of service in 1999. In addition to the main building, an adjoining building shall be constructed that shall include a department for the steam ship DS Finnmarken. The building shall function as a protection building for the out-of-service coastal steamer, and it shall function as an exhibition area for the Coastal Steamer Museum. Tenders shall be submitted for a complete engineering design package, in which a sketch project is first prepared, which is presented to the builder for approval. Then, the group shall present a preliminary project based on the approved sketch project, and thereafter prepare the tender documentation for the turnkey contract. It will be a prerequisite that the turnkey contractor shall use the engineering design group when preparing the detailed project.
