Project management — quay installations

Finnmark county would like tenders for project management for the construction of express boat quays for combi-boats (car express boats) with a total of six stops in West-Finnmark.
The express boat quays shall consist of a quay, a driving bridge with a bouyancy tank and/or hydraulic control systems and an additional quay.
Finnmark county is the project owner and the project manager's contract party. A preliminary project has been carried out for the construction of the quay installations (see annex B) and it is a prerequisite that the project manager relates to this. The procurement is to be seen as a one-time procurement. The actual date for implementation is the period February 2016 until the project is completed, estimated to 2022. There is nothing to stop the project being completed earlier if possible.
As there are no rules for this type of quay installation, the ‘Load regulations for bridges and ferry quays on the public road network’, which were used in the preliminary project, shall be used by the chosen project manager. Additional quays shall be constructed in accordance with NS 3479 Engineering design services for constructions — dimensioning loads. The driving bridges shall be worked out in accordance with the process code and engineering design rules for bridges.

Annex B — The preliminary project combi-boat quays provides a further description of the design, dimensioning and guidelines that shall form the basis for the quay installation development.
The procurement is exclusively for the project manager role. Other roles connected to the construction of the quay installations will be announced in separate competitions.
