… apparatus.The ultrasound apparatus shall be the x-ray department's main apparatus. It shall be used for general examinations of all body areas and for intervention, except the heart.The focus will be on:General and special examinations of shallow and deeper structure, including in the thorax, abdomen and extremities including thyreoidea. This includes assessments of tissue parts, skeleton, vascular structures and tumour areas with modern technology including doppler technology and elastography.Modern equipment for using contract agents for deep and shallow structures wtih optimum equipment for processing.The apparatus shall cover examinations within paediatrics including caput and hip examinations.It shall be used for intervention in biopsies, punctures and drains. We would like to assess the use of fusion with MR and CT images transferred to the ultrasound apparatus in an appropriate way, preferably automised via PACS.
