Procurement of airborne gravimetry

Dedicated gravity satellites provide good global geo-potential models of the earth's gravity field, but the spatial distribution is not so good. Ground measurements are much more exact, but are time consuming. It is almost impossible to carry out measurements in some areas with rough topography.
Airborne gravity measurements can be carried out from relatively low heights and complement the two other techniques. Specialised instruments, such as BGM-3 (Bell sea gravimeter) or Lacoste and Romberg sea/plane gravimeter, are used for the measurements. These are extremely heavy and large.
Gravity measurements can also be carried out with a ‘strapdown’ gravimeter, for example an IMU (Inertial Measurement Units). An IMU only weights a few kilograms.
We would like to carry out some test flights with both a traditional plane gravimeter and an IMU. We will fly at three different heights that cover an area south of Ålesund, Norway.
This procurement is a part of a research project to map to what degree an IMU can carry out gravity measurements.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
There is an option for up to five general flight packages (flight + analysis of GNSS/IMU), which consist of seven lines fx 90 km; three crossover lines x 50 km. The lines shall be flown approx. 2-300 m above sea level. This package will be flown immediately north and/or south of the main measuring area.

The service provider shall have settled conditions in relation to payment of taxes and VAT.

— Foreign tenderers must provide certificates from equivalent authorities to the Norwegian authorities.
The tenderer must be a legally established company.
— Norwegian companies: Company Registration Certificate.
— Foreign companies: Proof that the company is registered in a trade index or business register as prescribed by the law of the country in which the company is established.
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
The tenderer must have the financial capacity to implement the assignment/contract.
Documentation requirement:

A description of the tenderer's technical personnel or technical units the tenderer has at their disposition to fulfil the contract, regardless of whether they belong to the company or not.
