Forsvarsbygg (The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency) invites tenderer to submit tenders to a tender contest with negotiations with pre-qualification, related to works in connection with the lengthening of the runway located at Ørland. The tender contest is for a procurement above the threshold values, in accordance with the regulation for defence and security procurements (FOSA) §2-2 and the procurement shall follow the rules given in this regulation's parts I and II. The project 150024 the Lengthening of the Runway includes a lengthening of the existing runway and a parallel runway, the replacement of the lights system on the main runway, the moving of the navigation system and brake wire system, the construction of emergency and operation roads, the lengthening of the existing noise berm, the establishment of a surface water network and the conveying of electric power. The contract will mainly consist of: — Delivery, laying and connection of HS electricity cables. — The establishment of a new main light system on the runway, including approach lights. — Connection of the ICT infrastructure.

Forsvarsbygg (The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency) will choose the tenderers that best meet the requirements for technical and professional qualifications, in accordance with the table in point 4.1.
