The procurement, which is to meet the Principal's need for ‘Dimensioning and Weighing Units’, includes:
— 5 pallet scanners for dimensioning and weighing,
— Equipment: Volume dimensioning and weight,
— Integration: Installation of the equipment in the terminals,
— Interface for the sending of volume and weight data to the data warehouse used by Posten Norge,
— Testing: After installation the equipment must prove its reliability,
— ‘After market’: It is expected that the equipment will be used for 10 years after installation. The supplier must provide the necessary service and spare parts in this period.
The equipment is to be installed in terminals in the following cities: Mo I Rana, Trondheim, Narvik, Stavanger and Tromsø. In addition, Posten Norge would like an option on an additional 5 machines.
