New organ Støren church

Støren Church Council invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure with a prequalification for the construction of a new organ in Støren church. The best 3-5 qualified tenderers, based on the qualification requirements in point 3.4, will be invited to submit a tender. The council will then choose a tenderer based on the award criteria, cf. chapter 4.
The procurement will be made in accordance with the Public Procurements Act from 16.7.1999 (LOA) and the public procurement regulations (FOA) dated 7.4.2006 no. 402. Part II
§ 5-1. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the ‘negotiated procedure’.
The new organ shall meet the current need for the modern organ and at the same time it shall be constructed in accordance with well-tested craft traditions. We would like traditional organ construction from the classical era in combination with established technical systems. We would like one of the following solutions, described here in order of priority:
1 a) Restoration of the existing organ, as well as adding acoustic stops.
1 b) Restoration of the existing organ, adding digital stops (hybrid organ)
2. Complete new building, mechanical organ with loop charge.
The organ must have a timbre that favours liturgical organ playing and improvisation for liturgy as well as leading soloists. In accordance with the church's stately exterior and interior from 1816, we would like an organ rich in basic tones and with a romantic timbre.
