Hordaland Fylkeskommune v/Bybanen Utbygging (Hordaland County, c/o the Light Rail Development)

The contract in cludes the delivery of a set of lifting jacks that shall be used in connection with maintenance on light rail cars, at the light rail's workshop situated at Kokstad. The set of jacks shall be used on track 2. The jacks shall be used for lifting and keeping the railway cars lifted when maintenance underneath the cars are executed. The set shall comprise 12 jacks for use at Variobahn with up to seven modules. The total weight is approx. 60 tonnes.
The lifting jacks shall be designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with the following requirements:
— the minimum anvil height over the tracks is 105 mm;
— — maximum anvil height above top of rail: 1300 mm — a stroke range of 1195 mm.
The lifting jacks shall be able to lift a set of railway cars for removal of bogies under an access platform at the workshop. The clearance provided under the platform is 2200 mm.
The jacks shall have a minimum lifting capacity of eight tonnes for each jack, and with a total lifting capacity of 12 x 8 tonnes.
The supplier shall install, test for operations and test the system in such a way that it is compatible with the interface to mechanical/technical installations.

The tenderer must be a legally established company.
Documentation requirement for Norwegian tenderers:
— Company Registration Certificate.

— Confirmation that the tenderer is registered in a trade register or company register in accordance with the law in the country where the tenderer is established.
Tenderers must have their affairs in order with respect to the payment of tax, employer contribution and value added tax (VAT).

For Norwegian tenderers:
— Form from the Tax Directorate (RF-1244) for VAT, tax and employer contributions issued by the Tax Office.
For foreign tenderers:
— Foreign tenderers must submit equivalent certificates from their own country that show that they have their tax and duty payments in order. If the authorities in the relevant country do not issue these certificates, the tenderer should submit a declaration which states that all taxes and duties have been paid. The declaration shall be approved and signed by the tenderer's Financial Director/ person responsible for Finance.

The tenderer must fulfil Norwegian HSE requirements for work that is carried out in Norway.
