As a part of its landslide management efforts, the NVE (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NWRED)) maps the risk of avalanches, slush avalanches, rock falls, rock slides, landslides, debris flows etc. on behalf of the government cf. Plan for landslide hazard mapping (NVE 14/2011).
In regards to this, the NVE annually outsources the assignment of performing landslide hazard mapping in selected populated areas.
This competitive tendering covers landslide hazard mapping in the following areas:

NGU's (the Geological Survey of Norway) report ‘Skredfarekartlegging i Lærdal i samband med den nye stamveien Oslo-Bergen’ (Appendix 7), is expected to be examined and use as a basis for tenders in connection with the landslide hazard mapping in the areas 1F — 1K (Lærdal municipality).
The contracting authority requests tenders for the following areas:

1C. Landslide hazard mapping in selected areas in Narvik municipality;
1D. Landslide hazard mapping in selected areas in Rauma municipality;
1E. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Nesstranda in Rauma municipality;
1F. Landslide hazard mapping in selected areas in Lærdal municipality;
1G. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Vindedalen in Lærdal municipality;
1H. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Lærdalsøyri in Lærdal municipality;
1I. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Bjørkum in Lærdal municipality;
1J. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Husum in Lærdal municipality;
1K. Landslide hazard mapping in the option area Nese in Lærdal municipality;
1L. Landslide hazard mapping in selected areas in Tinn municipality;
1M. Landslide hazard mapping in a selected area in Ullensvang municipality.
Tenders can be submitted for one or several parts of the contract. If the service provider chooses to submit a tender for several or all areas, a separate tender shall be given for each area, in such a way that it is possible for the contracting authority to compare all of the received tenders for each area. For the option areas, a total price for each option shall be given (i.e. for each option area subject to mapping), in addition to a fixed price for the main delivery It is expected that in connection with the delivery of tenders for 1D, tenders shall also be submitted for the option 1E so that the tender is complete. This also applies for the delivery of tenders for 1F, where tenders shall be given for the options 1G-1K.
