KnS-i Minor investigating assignments within water and sewage (201412186)

Kristiansand kommune

The contracting authority does not always have sufficient capacity or competence to solve all the assignments, and would, thus, like to have an external consultancy company who can carry out minor investigating assignments when needed. The internal capacity will always be the deciding factor as to whether we require consultancy services and the extent will vary.
Examples of assignments can be (not exhaustive):
Assessing the use of No-Dig methods for drawing pipelines.
Modelling assignments (Kristiansand municipality uses Rosie and Swmm for sewage modelling and Epanett for water modelling).
Sub assignments/assessments within planning clearances.
Assessing the possibility to control pump stations for optimalised use of the existing pipeline network in a limited area.
Capacity assessments for limited pipeline drawing, pump station etc.
Assessments of connection places for new subscribers/areas.
Impact assessment for the working environment/installations/recipients of discharges/emissions.
Mapping wrong connections, assessing methods and recommending procedure methods.
Preparation of a sample taking programme for an area upstream of an emission point.
Mapping spillages/leakage in within an area.
Assessment of possible basin systems in order to reduce overflow operations in an area.
Independent inspection of engineering design services.
Other investigation assignments within water and sewage that the municipality does not have the capacity or competence to carry out.
