K215 Doors to radiation bunkers at Campus ÅsThe procurement ‘K215 Doors to radiation bunkers’ concerns radiation shielding doors for radiation therapy treatment room in building 155. A linear accelerator with to photo energies of 6 MV and 10 MV will be installed in the treatment room. It should be possible for radiation therapeutic treatment of horses, and internal transport on air cushion table.Detailing of the door design and castings will affect nearby concrete structures. Work on the design, installation and door solution starts in Autumn 2015, with input to the designers. The work will conclude in Autumn 2020, after the linear accelerator is put into operation and after the execution of the trial operation for the entire facility.
