The contracting authority wishes to enter into 2 separate framework agreements where the objective is to assist the Norwegian Coastal Administration with preparation of (the entire or parts of) risk analyses of the marine traffic in connection with measures included in the Norwegian Coastal Administration's areas of responsibility. The areas included are coastal administration (e.g. fairway and fishery harbour measures), maritime safety (measures for maritime safety such as pilots, fairway certificates etc.) and stand-by arrangements. Traditionally most analyses are carried out within fairway and fishing port measures.

32 call-offs were made in the previous framework agreement during the 3+1 year contract period. There were call-offs for many analyses on measures (contract value between 220 000 NOK-700 000 NOK per analysis) and some individual methodological assignments. The new framework agreement may also be subject to several call-offs for methodological development in addition to concrete measure analyses (will to a larger degree be implemented by internal resources).
