Framework agreement: Servers

Direktoratet for Samfunnssikkerhet og Beredskap (DSB) (The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection)

DSB shall enter into framework agreement with one tenderer of servers with associated components.
DSB currently uses a pure HP Proliant environment with EMC SAN solution and backup robot. A framework agreement shall be signed that includes and supports the existing operating environment and at the same time safeguards new requirements regarding servers, storage and backup.
There is a requirement that the new solutions are compatible and can be integrated with the current environment. Any costs/resource use regarding modifications and replacement will be part of the total evaluation.
DSB enters into this framework agreement on behalf of the Contracting Authorities that are comprised by the Framework Agreement. The Contracting Authorities are DSB and Valgdirektoratet [Directorate for Elections]. The tenderer must act in accordance with DSB under all circumstances.
The customer hereby invites tenderers to a contest for Framework agreement. The objective of the Framework agreement is to cover the Customer's need for servers with associated components in accordance with the requirement specification.
The customer currently uses a pure HP Proliant environment with EMC SAN solution and backup robot. Therefore a framework agreement shall be entered into that includes and supports the existing operating environment and at the same time safeguards new requirements regarding servers, storage and backup. It is a requirement that new solutions are compatible and can be integrated with the current environment. Any costs/resource use regarding modifications will be part of the award evaluation.
The framework agreement applies from the time it is signed and for one year, with an option for the Customer to extend the agreement for a further three years. The call off agreements last until the call off is done, and further in line with the call off agreement and ordered Care Pack Provisions.
