Framework agreement for maintenance and further development of DSS'security system within network security products

DSS shall establish a framework agreement with one service provider for the maintenance and further development of the entity's security system within network security products. Hereafter called ‘the security system’. The products that shall be maintained are in annex A — equipment overview of the qualification documentation, see point 2.8 in the qualification documentation.
A contract for the maintenance of all the products (software and equipment) included in the security system shall be signed with only one service provider due to security considerations. A total procurement is also justified, however, by the fact that the relevant products are closely integrated in each other in DSS'security system and an overall understanding is required in order to carry out maintenance and to develop the system in a satisfactory way.
The maintenance contract shall include support and maintenance services and an option for supplementary purchases/replacement purchases of licences and equipment in the existing security system when necessary. This can also, to a certain degree, include new products (upgrades) from the same manufacturers in order to follow technical developments. In the coming years DSS will, in addition, need to purchase additional services for consultancy services from technical lCT consultants who shall provide assistance within operations, troubleshooting and recovery, upgrades, changes and further development of the security system. The contract is meant to be dynamic, so that the need for expertise can be changed in accordance with the system being further developed.
