Framework agreement for electrician services including materials

This contract is a framework agreement between the Directorate of Fisheries and NIFES and the service provider for the continual provision of electrician services (heavy and low current). The contract is for el-tele/data installations, materials, troubleshooting, repairs, annual inspections of/inspections of emergency lighting installations, thermographing and internal control of electrical installations in buildings that are used by the Directorate of Fisheries in Bergen and buildings that are used by NIFES in Bergen.
The contracting authority has reservations on the award of contracts for work/measures for which an application has to be filed in accordance with the ‘Planning and Building Act’ and the ‘Regulations on Building Matters’. The contracting authority reserves the right to hold separate competitions for this type of work.
The company is required to have authorisation or equivalent, as well as certificate of apprenticeships for installers. The work that is carried out shall have certified fireproofing.
The contracting authority is dependent on the service provider being able to work as independently as possible and that the service provider can offer a permanent team for the provision of the services.
This framework agreement gives the Directorate of Fisheries and NIFES the right, but not a duty to award contracts within the framework agreement. The Directorate of Fisheries and NIFES are not obliged to procure any specific amount of goods or services in the framework agreement.
A framework agreement will be signed with one service provider for the assignment. The duration of the framework agreement will be 2 years. The Contracting Authority shall have the option to prolong the framework agreement for a further 1+1 year, to a total maximum of 4 years.
The contracting authority can give 6 months notice on the contract throughout the contract period.
