Norsk kulturråd (The Arts Council Norway)

The Arts Council Norway shall enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer for consultancy services within information architecture and interaction design for the Arts Council Norway's website.
The aim of the procurement is to ensure that Arts Council Norway has a well-functioning, user friendly and universally designed information architecture and interaction design on kulturradet.no and its associated systems.
The contract comprises interaction design, graphical design on the website, information structure and architecture, user testing and other associated assignments to solve this.
Examples of associated assignments can be:
— assistance with the implementation of change processes internally connected to content on the website, implementation of workshops etc.,
— analysis and set of up web statistics and analysis,
— mapping needs, observation of users and analysis of user needs,
— simplifications and smart use of the CMS,
— courses and competence raising internally in Arts Council Norway.
All systems that are prepared shall see to the users' needs, be universally designed and function for all web browsers, operative systems and screen sizes.

Option for expansion: Several options can be taken up connected to future areas of use and needs. The communicaton department in Arts Council Norway would like to motivate internally to use this contract for work on other systems that Arts Council Norway uses or manages. This can lead to an increased extent in the contract period. Examples of this could be:

— Consultancy services within information architecture, interaction design, service design, universal design, user tests and surveys and competence raising in major and minor projects for all other systems and solutions that Arts Council Norway manages or uses,

— The Arts Council Norway needs to develop a new intranet and interaction system in the long term. A simple blog system is currently used for this; Ning (http://www.ning.com/), as well as Confluence for selected assignments. Assistance could be required for mapping needs/analysis, the concept and design phase and other related consultancy services connected to the new intranet and interaction system in Arts Council Norway.
