Ringerike municipality shall procure assistance for planning and implementing a manager programme for all managers with personnel responsibility in the municipality. There are a total of approx. 140 managers.
The assistance shall be given in close cooperation between the service provider and resource persons, mainly form the HR department in Ringerike municipality. It is important that the management programme is developed to be suitable for our targets, strategies and values and that it is tailor-made for our needs.
The programme shall ensure that managers are developed in the manager role through a system that is adapted to each individual and to the actual manager situations. It is a prerequisite in the manager programme that the work is carried out through a management team and that they shall be stronger as a result of the implementation. The participants at the gatherings will be from the entire management team.
The service provider shall have a broad spectrum of methods and must offer consultants with competence in different fields.
The service provider shall, throughout the contract period, offer a permanent contact person who is qualified to choose consultants/competence that fulfils the requirements for the requested service. The contact person shall be knowledgeable of our role, structure and operation and the options and challenges that the municipality faces. This is so that the manager programme is suitable for our operations.

The management school shall, amongst other things, ensure that all managers in Ringerike municipality undergo a 2 year manager programme to develop manager competence both individually and through a management team. The manager programme is planned to start during the 1st quarter of 2016 and it will run for 2 years.
