Engineering design services for and the construction of 17 residential units in Welhavensvei 17

Sandnes kommune

The construction of 17 residential units for persons in financial difficulties in Sandnes municipality has been approved for the financial plan 2015-2018.
The contracting authority thus intends to enter into a contract for engineering design services for and the construction of 17 residential units. The assignment includes:
— Detailed engineering design based on a sketch project;
— Construction of 11 terraced houses of 73 m² and six flats of 45 m² with a total gross area of approx. 1 073 m²;
— Construction of sheds with a total gross area of approx. 86 m²;
— Construction of a technical room for all the residential units of approx. 24 m²;
— Development and completion of the outdoor area including a play area;
— Delivery and installation of fixed fixtures and equipment;
— Delivery and marking of asphalt as well as the delivery of some road area by the parking places.
The project shall be carried out as a modified turnkey contract based on NS 8407:2011.
The site is ready for the construction work to start immediately after the contract is awarded. The contractor must have the capacity to complete the engineering design services and construction in accordance with the contract, so that the hand-off can take place no later than 9.5.2016 (final deadline). The houses shall be ready to move into mid June 2016.
The houses shall be delivered as constructed on site or as wood-element buildings and engineered and constructed in accordance with the criteria for low energy buildings in accordance with NS 3701.
