E6 Jaktøyen — Storler — Contract 3

Statens vegvesen Region midt (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Region mid-Norway)

The works include both reconstruction of the existing E6 (European road 6) and construction of a new E6 along the existing E6. The total length is 8.1 km, from profile 600 (Jaktøyen in Melhus municipality) to profile 8,700 (the Sentervegen road in Trondheim municipality).
A new two level interchange at Hårstad shall be constructed. The existing interchange at Sandmoen shall be reconstructed and a new roundabout and an interchange system in connection with E39 and Fv707 (County road no. 707) at Klett, shall be constructed.
The works also include reconstruction of local roads, foot/cycle paths, alteration of Søra, measures in Lersbekken and Klasbekken, the construction of noise berms and noise reduction walls, alteration of high-voltage, district heating and water and sewage systems.
A total of 21 structures shall be constructed; bridges, sub-passages, culverts and retaining walls.
Poor ground conditions in the area will result in major requirements on stabilisation measures, i.a. by filling up stream courses, lime/cement stabilisation and pre-loading fillings.

Requirements regarding competence of the key personnel:
Key personnel menas site managers/operation managers, the contract manager and the HSE manager.
Technical and professional competency and relevant experience is required of the key personnel who will be engaged in this assignment. Contractors shall document competence and experience by CVs and references for the key personnel.
A statement of how the tenderer will organise the execution of the contract. The important factors here include that the organisation is sufficiently staffed and that the tenderer has the capacity and ability to deal with unforeseen circumstances during the contract.
