Statens vegvesen Region sør (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Southern Region)

The project comprises the improvement of approximately 1 km of the current county road, Listerveien and Brogata, through/beyond down town Farsund. County Road 43 hp 2 km 6,7-7,7.
The new stretch will be the new main corridor for the east-west traffic. A large portion of the traffic is industrial/heavy traffic to Lundevågen. This will alleviate the city streets of heavy traffic and other through traffic, which will be of significant environmental benefit down town.
The Project County Road 43 primarily promotes accessibility and traffic safety. There will be a clearer distinction between soft and hard road users in that edge parking will be reduced and footpaths and distinct crossing points will be established. The number of exits will be reduced.
