The competition concerns entering into framework agreement for delivery of printed and digital teaching aids for primary and lower secondary schools and nursery schools in the declared municipalities in Sør-Trøndelag (see point 1.2), as well as county municipal upper secondary schools in Sør-Trøndelag, other units in the county municipality, other units in the municipalities and in addition the affiliated public entities that are declared in point 1.2 for the period 1.4.2015-31.3.2017 with the possibility of an option for a further 1 + 1 years. Exempt from the competition is the Fylkesbiblioteket [The County Library] as well as the public library (except any school libraries) in the municipalities.
The procurement is divided into the following 2 groups:
Group 1: School/educational books for primary and lower secondary schools and upper secondary schools with any associated digital additional resources as stated in the following three bullet points:
— School books/teaching books for primary schools and lower secondary schools, including single use books, work books, teaching guides and copyable originals [masters] of these books as well as digital and written teaching aids intended as accompanying additional resources to a teaching book.
— School books/educational books for upper secondary schools, including teaching guides and copyable originals [masters] as well as digital and written teaching aids intended as accompanying additional resources to a teaching book.
— Books/teaching aids for nursery schools.
Group 2: Other literature and material, as stated in the bullet point below:
— Educational books for higher education, subject books for the professional market, factual prose, fictional literature, dime novels, works, commission books, laws, research reports and similar as well as audio books, e-books and electronic content products.
Additional services (option):
— Digital teaching aids, thereunder e-books, internet services and adequate digital teaching aids (the list is not exhaustive).

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The tenderers should also submit a tender on the digital educational aids described as additional services, but it will be an option for the Contracting Authority how one will enter agreement for the purchase of these. It will not be evaluated in this part of the service, and agreement including digital educational aids will if necessary be entered into with the supplier announced as the winner of the competition. For digital educational aids, the product selection, prices, discounts and any solutions for license management and administration of the digital teaching aids must be described.

A contract will be signed with 1 supplier. It will not be possible to submit tenders that cover only parts of the delivery. A tender should be lodged for both of the groups the procurement concerns, except that it is not obligatory to enter a tender on the digital educational aids named above, under additional services.
