The reconstruction of Jahnebakken 5 — an engineering, procurement and construction contract
Jahnebakken 5 was built in 1951-1953.
Up until 2010 the building was used as office purposes and laboratory activities. The building has not been in use since 2010.
The building comprises 6 complete floors, with technical rooms and a culvert below sections of the basement. The outer walls comprise hollow walls made of bricks. The total gross area of the building is approx. 2 500 m². The building is of high architectural quality and appears as authentic.
The building was listed (protection classification 1) in 2014.
The project includes internal reconstructions of the entire building, as well as some adaptations of the exterior.

A new lift shall be established.Most of the HVAC installations shall be disassembled and replaced with new installations. The sanitary installations shall be totally replaced. A water-borne heating system with radiators shall be installed. A sprinkler system shall be installed.
