A framework agreement for the clearing of snow and ice on roofs

Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF (Oslo municipality, the Municipal Undertaking for Social Service Buildings)

The contracting authority intends to enter into a framework agreement regarding removal of snow and ice from roofs. The contracting authority shall enter into parallel framework agreements with three service providers. The framework agreement period is 4 years with a mutual right of rescission of 6 months and unilateral right of 2 months.
The main service includes removal of snow, icicles and lumps of ice from roofs and gutters, as well as securing areas. The framework agreement shall ensure that buildings and roofs are not damaged by large amounts of snow, as well as safe traffic and security at all properties that are administered by the contracting authority. The total building area is 900 000 m², divided in 700 properties.
The Contracting Authority expect extremely high quality, service and efficiency from the framework agreement partners. It must be expected that the assignments are to be executed concurrently.

Based on previous years' procurements of these services, the contracting authority, without obligations, estimates the value of the contract to 2 700 000 NOK, excluding VAT over 4 years. It should be noted that historical data may differ from future use and that the Contracting Authority is not bound by the estimated volume.
