The objective of this contract is to enter into an agreement regarding counting vehicles on the municipal roads in Oslo.
The countings shall be used as background data for environmental calculations, traffic analyses, model calibration and for dimensioning and assessment of concrete measures on the municipal roads.

Countings are in this context the registration of number of vehicles and cyclists on selected sections on the municipal roads in Oslo. The countings are executed with the contracting authority's equipment, mainly by use of radar. However, other equipment will also be used. The countings are to be implemented in accordance with annual counting schedules and in accordance with requirement (individual countings).The contract also includes periodical maintenance at counting points.See the tender documentation and all annexes for further information.
