2015/08 — Cleaning services for the Romsdal museum. Framework agreement

Møre og Romsdal Fylkeskommune (Møre and Romsdal County)

On behalf of the Romsdal Museum, Møre og Romsdal Count invites tenderers to participate in a tender contest regarding cleaning services for the Romsdal Museum's new building, referred to as ‘Kronen på verket’. This is a building that was built in 2015 and is a distinctive building in regards to design and materials. The building is in two floors, with mezzanines in sections of the building. The main functions of the building are exhibition areas, offices and a storage.
Since the expected number of visitors and activities will vary, the cleaning services are divided in high season and low season. The museum will be open weekdays and weekends all year This is the first year the building is in operation and adaptations in e.g. frequencies must be expected. The premises will have various exhibitions and can also be hired for events. This means special requirements for cleaning and flexibility with regard to date and time for the cleaning when extra activities are scheduled, such as opening of exhibitions, etc. Regular meetings are required where routines and requirements are discussed and agreed.
The estimated area included in the agreement is 3,110 m2. Some of this area is not included in the daily cleaning. See also the price and area form for accurate information.
A site inspection is scheduled Tuesday 5.1.2016 between 10:00 and 11:00 hrs.

The contracting authority shall enter into a framework agreement with a provider for the entire assignment. The contract period is two years with option for one year + one year prolongation of the contract.
The contracting authority aims at initiating the contract 1.4.2015 at the latest, or as soon as possible after a provider is selected and given reasonable time to prepare for the assignment.
The contracting authority and contract owner is the Romsdal Museum.
