The Norwegian Veterinary Institute would like tenders for regular cleaning services in the premises in Oslo and our regional offices in Bergen and Trondheim.
The cleaning services are for approx. 250 persons.
The procurement is for the provision of cleaning services for the Norwegian Veterinary Institutes's premises in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The aim of the procurement is to cover the Norwegian Veterinary Institutes's need for regular cleaning in its premises, with an option for the contracting authority to make call-offs on other cleaning services when needed.

The Norwegian Veterinary Institute (VI) is a biomedical research institute with animal health, fish health and food safety and animal feed safety as its core areas. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute shall have a free and independent position in all professional questions. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute is the authorities' most important knowledge provider for the prevention, advice, clarification and handling of serious infectious diseases in fish and animals and zoonosis. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute also assists in the prevention and handling of crises caused by health hazardous connections and infectious substances in animal feed and food. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute also provides services and communicates knowledge to businesses, professionals and animal owners. The Norwegian Veterinary Institute has 330 employees and its main office is in Oslo with regional laboratories in Sandnes, Bergen, Trondheim, Harstad and Tromsø.

All communication between the tenderer and the contracting authority shall be directed to the contracting authority's contact person via the ‘Question and Answer’ function in our electronic tender system.
All questions and answers will be made accessible in anonymous form for all of the tenderers.
Enquiries received after the deadline for questions will not be answered.

Explanation and a description of the competition
Tenderers shall respond to all the requirements set in Part 1 of the tender documentation. In addition there are specifications for each of the 3 parts: Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. If a tenderer would like to submit a tender for 1 or several of the parts, a response to the specifications for each part must be given.
Good environmental processes and quality assurance in all links is important to and advocated by the contracting authority. Tenderers shall therefore provide a description of its environmental management system/certification that has been implemented in the company. Requirement: Routines and competence that ensure that the tenderer's activities have a low impact on the environment are required. Documentation requirement — at least one of the requirements shall be fulfilled: Certification in accordance with ISO 14001, EMAS-registration, Miljøfyrtårn certification, other verification by an accredited third party (only a current certificate needs to be enclosed) or other documentation that the contracting authority can accept, cf. the point below: — Overview of implemented environmental measures in recent years, for example, documented through the environmental report for recent years. — A description of future plans to meet the environmental requirements.
