Lot 1 - 3T MR:
A new 3T MR system shall be procured that shall be placed and used in the Gastro centre and which shall replace the existing lab 13. The procurement also includes disassembly and re-purchase of existing equipment, as well as the necessary modifications to the existing RF-cabin.
The MR system shall be used for a broad spectrum of MR examinations of all organs, including CNS, heart, abdominal organs, prostrate, muscles and the skeleton. The MR system shall be used for both daily clinic work and research activities.
As the MR systems shall serve many complex examinations, it is important that this is reflected in what is offered in the basic package. Services such as a RF-system, spools and gradient strength ought to be ‘state of the art’ and not give any restrictions as regards the examinations that shall be carried out. This also applies to the use of parallel imaging and other quick image taking techniques.
The equipment must be suitable for:
— The different applications within CNS, including spectroscopic imaging and volume localised spectroscopy.
— Morphological and functional recording of the heart.
— Breast examinations.
— All types of abdominal examinations.
— Prostate (with an option for endorectale coil).
— Muscle-skeleton (particularly fingers, toes and hands).
— All types of contract examinations.
— Angiographs in all anatomical levels.
— Diffusion and perfusion studies in the various organs.
— Whole body examinations for screening.
— Examination of children, restless/unclear and fully sedated patients.
We request that costs of the system and the necessary additional equipment are documented. Provision of the required training for all personnel who work in the affected units must be included in the delivery.
Lot 2 — Contrast injector
Controlled injecting of contrast and salt water during MR examinations.
Contrast injectors for use during ‘normal’ diagnostic examinations with MR shall be delivered for the MR procurement.
The injector shall cover the examination spectrum need, such as:
— All types of abdominal examinations.
— Morphological and functional recording of the heart.
— Angiographs in all anatomical levels.
— Whole body examinations for screening.
— Examination of children, restless/unclear and fully sedated patients.
— Perfusion examinations.
An option shall be offered for up to four contrast injectors for the equivalent of an up to 3 year period from when the contract is awarded. Tenderers are asked to price each individual injector as regards a discount per injector in annex B, price form, but there shall not be any conditions on procurements in addition to the one announced in this tender documentation, for discounts of more than 1-one.
Tenderers shall estimate the normal consumption of the stated and priced consumables and spare parts per annum for use with 1-one MR machine for ‘normal’ use in price from annex B.
